(8) Replacing the AMP PC board
* This section explains the procedure applicable to the monitor tower (L) assembly. Repeat the procedure
for the monitor tower (R) assembly.
● In order to avoid electric shock, accident or injury to yourself or others as well as damage to the
electronic circuits, be sure to turn off the power switch before starting this task.
● PC boards are vulnerable to static electricity. If a person handles a PC board while charged
with static electricity, the parts on the PC board may be damaged. Before handling a PC
board, discharge the static electricity from your body by touching the surface of grounded
metal.
1 Turn off the power switch.
(See P-81 "8A-8 Turning the Power Switch On".)

Remove the two Torx bolts (M5 x 12) from the rear side of the monitor tower (L) assembly
and loosen the two Torx bolts to remove the back panel.
