Test for continuity between the color coded wires.

Turn Signal Switch
Remove the left side fairing pocket and shelter.
Inspect at the black and brown gp couplers behind the
rubber cover.
Starter Button
Inspect at the gp red coupler on the right inner side
of
the fairing.
Test for continuity between the color coded wires.
