CFI System
eFI Self-Diagnostic System
The computer memory includes some fail-sate functions and a self-diagnosis program with a senes of LED's on the
computer housing side. These Indicators light to indicate problems in the systems and components listed below.
The system Includes a LEO self-checking tunction. The five LEO's and thee fuel system warning light should remain
ON
for
aboull.5 seconds after the ignition switch is turned
ON.
The LED's can be inspected without removing the computer from its
mount.
NOTE:
If
a
sensor
IS
faulty, the computer
Will
compensate for It
Disconnect a sensor that would logically cause the running problem being experienced. If the running problem
IS
cured. then
tile sensor you disconnected must be replaced.

light only when both injectors in either bank fail simultaneously. In-
dicators will light, however, for a single injector faulty by a short circuit.
