Cruise Actuator

Removal
Remove the cover from the junction box and disconnect
the end of the actuator cable from the control arm.
Remove the two nuts. Remove the actuator from the
bracket. Loosen the cable joint nut and disconnect the
cable from the junction box.
Pull the vacuum hose oH the actuator. (Be careful not to
puncture the hose.)
Vacuum Hose - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
Inspection
Disconnect the vacuum hose from the intake pipe of the
No. 4 cylinder.
Connect a vacuum pump to the hose and apply vacuum.
If vacuum does not remain steady, check the vacuum
hose for damage. deterioration or loose connection.
