POWER TO SPARK UNIT: Reconnect
couplers to proper spark units. Measure
I/oltage between Y(
+)
and G( -) terminals
with couplers connected. Battery voltage
should be shown with the ignition ON.

WIRING: Check continuity from W with Y
tube wire to ECU coupler pin 7. and from
G with Bu tube plus W tube wire to pin 8.

IGNITION COIL: Inspect ignition coil (see
Abnormal
page 7-4).

CAMSHAFT ANGLE SENSORS: Inspect
Abnormal
Gr'GI sensors (see page 10-29).

• Open circuit between
spark unit and
Ignition coil primary
terminal.
• Poor contact at
couplers.
• Open circuit.
• Poor contact at
couplers.
• Faulty ignition call.
• Faulty GrlGI sensors.
• Faulty ECU.
