Troubleshooting~o~'~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Poor performance at low and Idle speeds.
Check the following items before using this chart:
1) Spark plugs.
2) Idle speed.
3)
Cylinder compression (valve clearance).
4)
Fouled or clogged air cleaner.
5) Loose battery terminals.
6) Poor ground contact (engine side).
LED's: Check LED's on ECU with engine
running
LED's OFF
LED's ON
FAULTY PART: Inspect system or parts
indicated.
Normal
Faulty ECU. Try with a known good ECU.
INJECTORS: Inspect each injector
(see page 10-20).

Incorrect pressure applied to PB sensor.
Connect
a
vacuum pump as shown. Start
engine and check PB sensor hoses for
blockage. Vacuum gauge should indicate
intake manifold vacuum.

vacuum air jets at each
intake pipe for blockage
