2.2.2 Clutch wear

Replace at
The contact pressure of the cup spring remains constant up to this dimension (3 mm). Use
"Racing Fluid-325 °C" from Performance Friction Brakes as clutch fluid. If it falls below the
limit above, the clutch disk should be replaced.

2.2.3 Fluid for clutch actuation

Racing Brake Fluid-325° from Performance Friction Brakes is used as clutch fluid.

Porsche recommends to vent the system after each session and to change the fluid
after each race weekend.
Venting:
WARNING
Depress the clutch pedal 2 to 3 times and keep it depressed
Shortly open the vent valve rear cross member (illustration 2.2.3.1) – the
clutch pedal has to be depressed and should not be released
Close the vent valve again
Increase pressure again by pumping pedal
Repeat this procedure 2 to 3 times
Check the fluid level on the fluid reservoir and replenish fluid, if required
Replacement:
Remove the old fluid from the reservoir and fill with new fluid
Then proceed as for venting, perform approx. 10 times the steps mentioned
above and replenish fluid in the reservoir if required.
