8. Remove the sealing ring; there are two ways of doing this:
a.) Screw the threaded tip of the impact pull-off device alternately into the bore
holes and pull the sealing ring off evenly.

b.) Screw in two tapping screws and pull the sealing ring off evenly using the
claw sleeve from a slide hammer kit.

9. Carefully remove chips and oil residue at the crankshaft bore hole
