Brake disc wear limit:
The wear limit is reached when the disc has been worn down to the bottom of the slot
(figure 3.7.1.2). The disc should also be replaced if there are cracks up to the edge of
the disc that are caused by increased thermal stress.

NOTE
The wear limit is reached when the brake pad has been worn down to the bottom of
the slot (figure 3.7.1.3). In addition, the pads should also be replaced if excessive
diagonal wear is detected. In this case, the brake pistons of the caliper have to be
checked immediately to find out the cause.
