The bus connectors and RS 485 repeaters described in this manual are
designed for stationary use in sheltered locations. Ambient operating
conditions to IEC 1131-2.
Unless additional protective measures are implemented, the bus connectors
and RS 485 repeaters should not be used:
where they would be exposed to a high proportion of ionizing radiation
where operating conditions are harsh, for example due to:
– dust
– aggressive vapors or gases
in systems which require special monitoring, for example:
– elevators
– electrical systems in high-risk zones
Installation in cabinets counts as an additional protective measure.
The bus connectors and RS 485 repeaters are suitable for use under the
