Importing data
from a binary file

You need the "Import data from binary file" function only if the original
program file is lost.
To import data from a binary file:
1. Select File Import
2. Select a file with a ".2BF" extension.
Result: The binary file is converted into a format compatible with
COM ET 200 Windows and imported. The content of a binary file
corresponds to a master system. The data of the binary file is available in the
program file opened in this way.
Note
You cannot reconstruct the entire bus system and store the configuration in a
single program file until you have imported the data from all the memory
cards, each of which contains the data for single master system. This data in
its entirety constitutes the map of the bus-system configuration.
If you have the S5-95U as DP master, you use a special memory module, an
EEPROM with a capacity of 32 Kbytes, supplied with the S5-95U with DP
master interface.
In case you have to re-order the 32 K EEPROM, you will find the order num-
ber in Appendix F.
