To enter the bus parameters:
1. Select Configure
Bus parameters
or
double-click on "Bus designation".
Result: The "Bus parameters" dialog box is opened.
2. Set the bus parameters. Click on "Help" for more information.
3. If necessary, go to "Set parameters ...",
– to view the bus times calculated by COM ET 200 Windows;
– if you want to customize the bus times to suit your configuration;
– if you want to increase the response monitoring time, or
– if you must make provision for the token runtime of another,
other-vendor master (see Section 8.2.8).
4. Confirm the settings and close the dialog box by pressing "OK".
If you select "Variable / S5-95U" as the bus profile for the DP master or DP
slaves, you must change the bus times. The rule of thumb is:
Always set the slowest bus time of all bus stations.
Set the following bus times:
