S5-95U as DP When you are ready to parameterize and save the configuration, proceed as
master follows:

Parameterizing and saving the configuration (S5-95U)

Step
1 After starting COM ET 200 Windows, assign the parame-
ters to the individual components:
Bus
DP master and
DP slaves DP slaves
Enter the parameters for the DP slaves last, because the
slave parameters allow you to switch off response moni-
toring for selected DP slaves after switching it on with the
master parameters.
2 If you have more than one DP master connected to the
bus, create a second master system and again enter all the
requisite parameters.
3 If you have the IM 308-C operating as DP slave, first
create the IM 308-C as DP and then configure the other
parameters in the master system of the IM 308-C/DP
slave.
4 After entering all parameters, save the entire configura-
tion, insert the 32 K EEPROM in the module slot of the
S5-95U and transfer (export) the data to the 32 K
EEPROM in the S5-95U.
5 Print the system documentation.
