Name
Program In a program file, you save the entire bus configuration, i.e. all the components
file physically interconnected by a bus cable.
Note: The name format for program files generated with COM ET 200 V1.0
through V4.x is: ??????ET.200.
Directory: \PROGDAT
Binary file In a binary file, you save the configuration of a master system. The content of a
binary file corresponds to the data stored on a memory card
Create a binary file if, after exporting data to the memory card, you want to
store the data on the PC as well.
Type file A type file contains all the characteristics of a DP slave.
COM ET 200 Windows requires a type file for each station type, in order to
link the stations.
Non-language-specific type files are designated ???????X.200, type files in
English bear names with the format ???????E.200.

Note: Type files used under COM ET 200 V1.0 to V4.x are in the directory
\KONVER4X. You require these type files only if you want to convert program
files generated with COM ET 200 V1.0 to V4.x.
Type file A type file for DP master/host contains the characteristics of the DP master and
for DP the host.

Operating- The operating-system file contains the IM 305-C operating system which
system file belongs to COM ET 200 Windows. Once the operating-system file has been
exported to a memory card, it can then be imported to the IM 308-C (see
