Begin by determining the positions of the
cable ducts, and thus the spacing between the
cables.

Mount the DP slaves and the programmable
controller at their locations.

IM 308-C: Insert the IM 308-C in the
programmable controller.

Connect the power supply, sensors and
actuators to the slaves.
5
Connect all nodes to the SINEC L2 DP field
bus:
with bus connectors for IM 308-C,
S5-95U, ET 200B, ET 200U,
S5 95U ET 200B ET 200U
to RS 485 repeaters without bus
connectors
with special IP 66/67 bus connectors for
ET 200C, DP/AS-I Link.
