Purpose
Clears the configuration of the specified SPAN session.
The new session configuration is added to the existing
session configuration.
Enters the monitor configuration mode. The new
session configuration is added to the existing session
configuration, which specifies the SPAN session for
which the source rate limit is to be configured. By
default, the session is created in the shut state, and the
session is a local SPAN session.
Configures sources and the traffic direction in which
to copy packets. You can enter a range of Ethernet
ports, a port channel, an inband interface, or a range
of VLANs.
You can configure one or more sources, as either a
series of comma-separated entries or a range of
numbers. You can specify up to 128 interfaces.
You can specify the traffic direction to copy as ingress
(rx), egress (tx), or both. By default, the direction is
both.
Source VLANs are supported only in the

ingress (rx) direction.

Configures destinations for copied source packets.
You can configure one or more destinations as either
a series of comma-separated entries or a range of
numbers. However, only one such primary port can
be configured in a session. You can specify up to 128
interfaces.
SPAN destination ports must be either access

Sets the rate limit for the SPAN traffic.
Checks the configuration to ensure that the primary
attribute is not configured on the destination port.
Displays an error message if more than one port is
configured.
