APPENDIX A DEVELOPMENT TOOLS
This on-chip debug emulator serves to debug hardware and software when developing
application systems using all flash microcontrollers (including the 78K0S/Kx1+). It is available
also as a flash memory programmer dedicated to microcontrollers incorporating a flash
memory.
16-pin general-purpose connector (2.54 mm pitch)
This in-circuit emulator serves to debug hardware and software when developing application
systems using the 78K/0S Series. It supports the integrated debugger (ID78K0S-NS) and is
used in combination with an AC adapter, an emulation probe, and an interface adapter for
connecting the host machine.
This in-circuit emulator has a coverage function in addition to the functions of the IE-78K0S-
NS, and enhanced debugging functions such as an enhanced tracer function and timer
function.
This adapter supplies power from 100 to 240 VAC outlets.
This PC card and interface cable are required when using a notebook type PC as the host
machine (PCMCIA socket supported).
This adapter is required when using a personal computer incorporating the PCI bus is used as
the host machine.
This emulation board serves to emulate peripheral hardware inherent to the device. It is used
in combination with an in-circuit emulator. A target cable is provided.
This probe is used to connect the in-circuit emulator to the target system and is designed for
use with a 30-pin plastic SSOP (MC-5A4 type).
This conversion connector connects the NP-30MC to a target system board designed to mount
a 30-pin plastic SSOP (MC-5A4 type).
