The following procedure describes how to cascade VPM210s.
Procedure
Step 1 Press the mode setting button located at the bottom of each VPM210 to set the MIC ID for each
VPM210.
MIC IDs are number 1, 2, and 3, as shown in the preceding figures. The status of the indicator
beside the mode setting button changes on each pressing of the button. The mapping between
MIC IDs and indicator states is described in a nameplate located at the bottom of a VPM210.
Thus, you can find out the current MIC ID of a VPM210.
Step 2 Place the VPM210s in the sequence according to their MIC IDs (1, 2, and 3).
Step 3 Select an application scenario on the screen of the terminal.

The terminal sets the mode of collecting the audio for the VPM210s according to the selected
scenario.

4.1.2 Connecting a Tuning Console

If a conference room requires multiple microphones or already has a tuning console for
controlling microphones, the tuning console can be connected to the audio input interface of the
terminal.
Connect the tuning console to the AUDIO IN interface of the terminal using an RCA audio cable.

4.2 Connecting an Audio Output Device

Knowledge of audio interfaces on the terminal and the various types of audio interfaces can help
in quickly and correctly connecting an audio output device to an audio output interface on the
terminal.
