1.5 Using the 3G Network

You can communicate with others over a 3G network using a 3G data card in conjunction with
the terminal.

when a LAN is used for communications. If a 3G data card has been inserted into the terminal,
the 3G network can be used for video communications using the H.323 protocol and the Session
Initiation Protocol (SIP).

On the front panel of the terminal, there are two USB ports that support a bandwidth of 480
Mbit/s, 12 Mbit/s, or 1.5 Mbit/s. In addition, the USB interfaces can be expanded to multiple
types of digital interfaces.

1.6 Powering On or Off the Terminal

After connecting all the required devices, connect the power supply and then power on the
terminal.
When the terminal is powered on, ensure that the power cable is connected to the terminal
securely to prevent power disconnection. Before disconnecting the external power supply (for
example, the power supply from a power socket), power off the terminal properly.
Check whether the power cable and the power adapter are connected to the relevant devices
properly. Ensure that:

Audio output: Connect the AUDIO OUT MAIN interface of the terminal to the audio input
interface of the HD TV using the RCA cable provided. Ensure that the connectors are
correctly paired with their corresponding interfaces.
LAN connection: Connect the LAN 1 interface of the terminal to the network interface of
the relevant network device using the network cable provided.
Power supply connection: Connect the power interface to the power socket using the power
cable and power adapter provided.
NOTE
l The terminal can output both video and audio to the TV through the DVI-HDMI cable simultaneously;
set the output mode of the video output interface to DVI (AUDIO).
l The cable connection description in this section is provided only for reference. Please connect cables
as required.

NOTE
To use the 3G network for video communications using H.323 and SIP, ensure that the terminal license
supports the 3G data card function.
CAUTION
The voltage of the alternating current ranges from 100 V to 240 V and the frequency of the
alternating current ranges from 50 Hz to 60 Hz.
