Description
If you use the built-in MCU of the HUAWEI VP9039A to initiate a
conference, you can set this parameter to either of the following:
l Free view: All the sites participating in the conference can choose
to view a specific site. In addition, each site can set and view
continuous presence as desired. If this option is selected, Viewing
mode or Voice activation cannot be selected from the
Conference screen.
l Broadcast: After the conference starts, a site in full screen or
multiple sites in continuous presence are displayed depending on
the Viewing mode setting. If Viewing mode is set to Auto
(continuous presence) or other modes, all participating sites view
continuous presence. If Full screen is selected for Viewing
mode, the following occurs:
– If the built-in MCU of the local terminal is being used and if
the local site participates in the conference, the local site is
viewed by the other sites in the conference.
– If the local site does not participate in the conference, the
participating sites view the site that is specified in the relevant
policy on the terminal whose built-in MCU is being used.
NOTE
Only the built-in MCU of the HUAWEI VP9039A supports the Free view
mode.
This specifies the audio protocol used by the terminal to encode and
decode the audio.
By selecting AAC_LD or HWA-LD, you can enable the dual-audio
channel.
This specifies the video protocol used by the terminal to encode and
decode the video. In a non-multi-stream conference, the video protocol
is the video protocol used by the local terminal.
Using the H.263 and H.264 video protocols in an HD conference is
recommended.
You can select a proper format based on the video protocol that is
already set.
When the video protocol is set to auto, the video format can be
Sharp or Smooth.
When Sharp is selected, the system prioritizes the frame rate. When
Smooth is selected, the system prioritizes the video resolution.
This specifies the frame rate used during in video encoding. It is
recommended that you set this parameter to Auto. A higher frame rate
equates to smoother video quality and a lower frame rate equates to
clearer video quality.
After this check box is selected, presentations can be shared during
point-to-point calls.
