5.1.9 Scheduling a Conference

You can schedule a conference to be held during a specific period.
Prerequisites
The terminal is not in a conference.
Context
The terminal supports the function to schedule conferences when H.323, E1, or 4E1 lines are
used.
If E1 or 4E1 lines are used, set the account and password used for initiating conferences before
scheduling a conference. For details about the setting method, see section
Parameters.
Procedure
Step 1 Choose Utilities > Schedule Conference.
Step 2 Schedule a conference using either of the following methods:

To view a Lync client's online status, you must save that Lync client to the local address book. For
details, see Searching for and Saving Records in an LDAP Network Address

Conferences to be held using a built-in MCU cannot be scheduled.
Select a conference from Favorite Conferences, set Start date, Time format, Start
time, and Conference duration (ranging from 30 min to 360 min), and then select OK.
Select Create, set site and conference parameters, set Start date, Time format, Start
time, and Conference duration (ranging from 30 min to 360 min), and then select OK.
