Follow-up Procedure
After a caption or a banner is created, you can preview, send, or edit the caption or the banner.

8.3 Sharing a Caption

After you create a caption, you can share the caption with a remote site.
Prerequisites
A caption has been created.
Procedure
Step 1 From the home screen, select Utilities.
Step 2 Select Middle Caption, Banner, or Caption according to different software versions.
Step 3 Select a caption or a banner, and then select Share.

8.4 Sending an Instant Message

During a conference, instant messages can be sent to remote sites.
Prerequisites
Both the sending party and the receiving party support T.140 captions. For details about how to
configure T.140 captions, see section

Parameter Description
Background This specifies the background color of the caption. The system supports
color a maximum of 64 colors.
Font color This specifies the font color of the caption in the foreground. The system
supports a maximum of 64 colors.
Font size This specifies the font size of the caption. The available options are tiny,
less, small, medium, large, biggish, and huge.
Bold This specifies whether the font of the caption is in bold.
Scrolling The middle and bottom captions can roll in display. This parameter is
speed used to specify the rolling rate of a caption. Seven rolling rates are
available for a middle caption and five for a bottom caption. The
required rate can be chosen according to the preview effect.
