Configure external PCM interface
This command configures the external PCM interface by specifying the
clock speed, the format, and enabling / disabling padding.
The change takes place immediately if the current audio profile uses the
external PCM interface.
Note: These settings are stored in NV memory and persist across
power cycles.
Parameters:
<clock> (PCM clock speed)

0 = 2.048 MHz (short sync)
•
1 = 128 kHz (long sync)
<format> (PCM format type)

0 = 8-bit -law
•
1 = 8-bit a-law
•
2 = 16-bit linear
<padding> (Enable / disable padding)
•
0 = Disable
•
1 = Enable
Note: Padding is typically disabled (padding bits are used to control the
volume level for some external codecs).
