Modem Status, Customization, and Reset Commands
Query / set active protocol / revision
This command is used to configure the modem to use specific protocol,
SGSN, and MSC revisions, and to indicate the current settings.
Usage:
AT!REL? reports the current operating protocol, SGSN revision, and
MSC revision.
For example:
AT!REL? <CR>
!REL:
Protocol:
Release 5
SGSN Revision: Dynamic
MSC Revision: Dynamic
OK
AT!REL=? returns the command format (for !REL= ) and the supported
values for each parameter.
For example:
AT!REL=? <CR>
!REL: (0-1)[,(0-3),(0-3)]
!REL: (0-2)[,(0-2),(0-2)]

<wcdmarrc> (protocol):
00 = Release 99
01 = Release 5 (Default)
<sgsnr> (SGSN revision):
00 = Release 97
01 = Release 99 (Default)
02 = Release 5
03 = Dynamic—uses the protocol broadcast by the network
<mscr> (MSC revision):
00 = Release 97
01 = Release 99 (Default)
02 = Release 5
03 = Dynamic—uses the protocol broadcast by the network
