Removing the Front Covers from Cisco 12010 Original Series

The blower module and line card and RP card cage covers are fastened to the
chassis by ball studs on the front of the chassis
To remove a cover, grasp the outside edges of the cover and pull it straight out to
detach it from the front of the chassis.
The blower module front cover is shipped in the accessory tray to permit the foam
shipping cap to fit securely on the top of the router and to protect the router
(without damaging the front cover).
To reinstall the front cover, refer to the
12010 Original Series Routers" section on page
