Password Policy

This section explains the items displayed in the Password policy tab.

Management of
password
expiration date
A text box to type a password required for login. You can use a maximum
of 31 ASCII printable characters. * is shown for a password.
Since nothing is shown for Password in the account information, save the
password by yourself.
A text box to retype a password: * is shown for a password.
Displays the number of days remaining until the password expiration date.
If the expiration date has passed, "Expired" is displayed.
This item is displayed only for account editing.
Select this item if you want the user to change the password in the window
that appears at login when the password expires.
This item is displayed for account editing only if [Management of password
expiration date] is enabled and [Change expired password] is disabled in
the Password policy tab.

Displays whether management of password expiration dates is
enabled.
Enable: Password expiration dates are managed.
