Item
HBA BIOS
Enables or disables the SAN boot setting: Enable; Disable. Default value
Enable/
is Disable.
Disable
Set Enable when detecting LUs. Usually enable just the HBA port of the
boot path and disable other HBA ports.
Connection
Sets a type of connection. Specifies how to connect a fibre channel
Type
interface.
Available values: Auto, Point to Point, Arbitrated Loop
Default value: Auto
Data Rate
Sets a data transfer rate. Specifies a data transfer speed for a fibre
(Gb/Sec)
channel interface.
Available values for each fibre channel (FC) mezzanine card are as
follows:
Hitachi 8 Gb FC mezzanine card:
Auto (Default), 2 Gb/Sec, 4 Gb/Sec, 8 Gb/Sec
Hitachi 16 Gb FC mezzanine card:
Auto (Default), 4 Gb/Sec, 8 Gb/Sec, 16 Gb/Sec
Login Delay
Sets delay time before login. Input an estimate time, how many seconds
Time (sec)
it takes until each device recognizes change in FC connections before
logging in to the target port. Consider the configuration size and a
potential heavy loading when setting the login delay time. Available
values: from 0 to 60 seconds; default value: 3 seconds.
Persistent
Sets persistent binding of OS drivers.
Binding
To start the OS by forcibly disabling the persistent binding, set this item
to Disable. This item is available only for Linux without using a boot
driver. All adapters need to have the same value. Available values:
Enable or Disable; Default value: Enable.
Boot Priority
Enable or disable the boot priority for detecting LUs.
With Enable, the target LU is detected only among LUs in the boot
priority list.
With Disable, the target LU is detected by searching target LUs among
currently available LUs and ignoring the boot device list.
Available values: Enable and Disable; default value: Disable.
HBA ISOL
Sets isolation status at HBA port startup. Set it to ON to start the port in
cmd
isolation.
Available values: On and OFF; default value: OFF
Shown only for Hitachi 16 Gb fibre channel mezzanine card.
Multiple
Used along with Connection Type. To expand direct connection
PortID
configuration, set to Enable.
Available values: Enable and Disable; default value: Disable.
Shown only for Hitachi 16 Gb fibre channel mezzanine card.
