The eight digital standard outputs and the two tool outputs may furthermore be con-
figured to reflect whether a program is currently running, so that the output is high
when a program is running and otherwise low.
Finally, it is also possible to specify whether an output can be controlled on the I/O
tab (by either programmers, or both operators and programmers) or if it is only robot
programs that may alter the output value.

13.10 Installation
Variables created here are called installation variables and can be used just like nor-
mal program variables. Installation variables are special because they keep their value
even if a program is stopped and then started again, and when the robot arm and/or
control box is powered down and powered up again. Their names and values are
stored with the installation, so it is possible to use the same variable in multiple pro-
grams.
