Single-Machine Trigger Examples

To detect a handshake violation

1 Go to the timing analyzer's Trigger menu.
2 Define the Edge1 term to represent either transition on the first
handshake line, and the Edge2 term to represent either
transition on the second handshake line.
You can rename these terms to match your problem, for example, to
REQ and ACK.
3 Under Timing Sequence Levels, enter the following sequence
specification:
• Find "REQ" Occurs "1" Else on "no state" go to level "1"
• TRIGGER on "REQ" Occurs "1" Else on "ACK" go to level "1"
