8.14.3 Firmware Update

This command is used to update BMC FW and BIOS.
tftp server is required to use this command. Update of BMC or BIOS FW is performed by downloading binary
image from tftp server.
Syntax
oemnecload -source <URI> [-oemnecfiletype <bmcfw/bios/bmcfw2/bios2>]
Parameter

While this command is running and an image file from tftp server is being transferred, pressing the <Ctrl> + <B>
key allows data transfer processing.
While this command is running, the message indicating progress is displayed in the following five processing
phasees.
Display example is shown below:
Preparing: 48%
Uploading: 3487232/16777216(20%) [Total received bytes/Expected data length (reception rate %)]
Completed: 20%
Verifying: 48%
Writing : 26%
The server does not restart automatically if it is powered on. Accordingly, the completion message as shown
below is displayed after the BMC is reset.
If the server is off-powered, it restarts automatically 60 seconds later.

Writing : 97%
OEMNECLOAD has been completed.
BMC Firmware Update is successful.You need to reset BMCs to apply update.
Please execute reset command at /admin1/sp1 target.

Specify URI of TFTP server.
Update BMC FW.
Update BIOS.
With the server that has two BMCs (Express5800 A2040b/A2010b/A2020b), both BMC FW
of master BMC and standby BMC are updated.
With the server that has two BMCs (Express5800 A2040b/A2010b/A2020b), both BIOS of
master BMC and standby BMC are updated.
Do not specify bmcfw2 or bios2 for oemnecfiletype on Express5800 A1040b model.
