Remote Control
You can perform remote control of the server at the command prompt.
Important
8.5.1 Power On
Enter the following command at the command prompt.
start /admin1/system1
8.5.2 Forced Power Off
Enter the following command at the command prompt.
stop -force /admin1/system1
or
stop -f /admin1/system1
8.5.3 OS Shutdown
Enter the following command at the command prompt.
stop /admin1/system1

8.5.4 System Reset
Enter the following command at the command prompt.
reset /admin1/system1

Performing remote control when the operating system is running may cause the
loss of data in the server.
•
The user must have an account as Operator or Administrator for remote control.
The above OS shutdown is equivalent to pressing the POWER switch of the server.
Your operating system must be configured to shutdown when you press the POWER
switch.
This command will fail if the power of the server is off.
