2.4 Loading the system configu-
ration from the ACA
The AutoConfiguration Adapter (ACA) is a device for
storing the configuration data of a device and
storing the device software.
In the case of a device failure, the ACA makes it possible to easily transfer
the configuration data by means of a substitute device of the same type.
When you start the device, it checks for an ACA. If it finds an ACA with a valid
password and valid software, the device loads the configuration data from
the ACA.
The password is valid if
the password in the device matches the password in the ACA or
the preset password is entered in the device.
