4. CHECKING, DISASSEMBLING AND SERVICING

[1] SEPARATING ENGINE FROM TRACTOR

Draining Coolant
CAUTION
• Never remove the radiator cap until coolant temperature is
well below its boiling point. Then loosen cap slightly to the
stop to relieve any excess pressure before removing cap
completely.
1. Stop the engine and let cool down.
2. Remove the radiator hose (1) from the engine side to drain the
coolant.
3. Remove the radiator cap to completely drain the coolant.
4. After all coolant is drained, reinstall the radiator hose.

Draining Engine Oil
1. Start and warm up the engine for approx. 5 minutes.
2. Place an oil pan underneath the engine.
3. Remove the drain plugs (1) to drain oil.
4. After draining, screw in the drain plugs (1).
(When reassembling)
• Fill the engine oil up to the upper line on the dipstick (3).

IMPORTANT
• Never mix two different type of oil.
• Use the proper SAE Engine Oil according to ambient
temperature.

G-8.)
