(C) Removing Heater Hoses
Removing High Pressure and Low Pressure Pipes
1. Remove the outer roof.
2. Disconnect the pressure switch (1) connector.
3. Disconnect the high pressure pipe 2 (2), then cap the open fitting
immediately to keep moisture out of the system.
4. Remove the rubber (3) and disconnect the low pressure pipe (4),
then cap the open fittings immediately to keep moisture out of the
system.
5. Pull out the pressure pipes (2) and (4) from the bottom of the
cabin.
6. Take out the pressure pipes (2) and (4).
(When reassembling)
• Replace the rubber (3) with a new one.
• Apply compressor oil (DENSO CO. ND-OIL8) to the O-rings and
take care not to damage them.

Draining Coolant
CAUTION
• Never remove the radiator cap until coolant temperature is
well below its boiling point. Then loosen cap slightly to
relieve
any
excess
completely.
1. Stop the engine and let cool down.
2. Remove the hose (1) to drain the coolant. When removing the
drain plug, set the hose to drain port.
3. Remove the radiator cap to completely drain the coolant.
4. After all coolant is drained, reinstall the hose.
