ELECTRIC STARTER
(1)
CASE
(2, REAR COVER
Install the rear cover with its index mark aligned
with the index mark on the case.
(3) INDEX MARK
(1) STARTER CABLE
(2) STARTER MOTOR
Install the starter motor.
Connect the starter cable and battery ground cable.
(3) BOLTS
STARTER RELAY SWITCH
INSPECTION
Depress the starter switch button with the ignition
ON. The coil is normal if the starter relay switch
clicks.
Connect an ohmmeter to the starter relay switch
terminals.
Connect a 12V battery to the switch cable termi ­
nals.
The switch normal if there is continuity.
