CYLINDER HEAD/VALVES
Blow the oil p ipe with compressed air and install it
in pos ition .
T ighten the front and rear cylinder head mounting
bolts.
Blow the oil bolts with compressed air .
Make sure that the sealing washers are in good con ­
dition .
Connect the oil pipe with the
oil
bolts and sealing
-washers , and tighten the bolts.
TORQUE :
8 mm bolt: 12-16 N·m
(1.2-1.6 kg-m, 9-12 It-lb)
10 mm bolt: 23-27 N·m
(2.3-2.7 kg-m, 17-20 ft-lb)

Put the cam chain over the tensioner body and
install the tensioner slipper w ith the clips and p ins
as shown.
NOTE :
Be careful not to drop the pins and clips into
the crankcase.
