CLUTCH
Install clutch center A and the washer.
(1)
GROOV ES (2) CLUTC H CENTER B
Place the clutch center 8 w ith the grooved side fac­
ing down .
Install the one-way clutch into the clutch center 8
with its flanged cage facing up .
Install the clutchInner into the one-way clutch with
its grooves facing up. Turn it counterclockwise as
you install it.

I nstall the one-way clutch/clutch center 8 assembly
over the ma inshaft.
NOTE:
Make sure the one way clutch assembly is in­
stalled correctly by turn ing the clutch center
B. The clutch center should turn clockwise
freely and should not turn counterclockwise.
(1) CLUTCH CENTER B (Turns clockwise)
(2) ONE -WAY CLUTCH
