CRANKSHAFTmTARTERCLUTCH
(1) MOUNTING NUT
Temporarily install the alternator rotors and hold
the rotor with universal holder (07725-00300001­
I nstall and tighten the alternator shaft mounting
nut.
TORQUE: 30-38 N·m
(3.0-3.8 kg·m. 22-27 ft-Ibl

(1) OIL CH AMBER COVER
Apply thread lock agent to the socket bolt threads
and install the oil chamber cover with the socket
bolts.

Check the alternator drive chain tensioner spring
and slipper for wear or damage.
Replace the tensioner if necessary.
