Check the front fork air pressure when the forks
are cold.
Place the vehicle on its center stand.
Remove the air valve cap and measure the air pres­
sure

Check the operation of the anti-dive system by rid­
ing the motorcycle and firmly applying the brakes.

Inspect and if necessary, repair the system (Refer
to section 13)

REAR
Place the motorcycle on its center stand.
Move the rear wheel sideways with force to see if
the swingarm bearings are wom.
Replace the bearings if there is any looseness (page
14-181.
Check the shock absorber for leaks or damage.
Tighten all rear suspension nuts and bolts.
