Check that the right end of the Pivot Plate Shaft is in contact with the Ground Plate following
installation of the Drum Fan.
Be sure to connect the wiring harness connector

Drive Alignment procedure (ADJ 1.3) before restoring printer power.

3. Remove the Right Side Cover
4. Remove the Lower Inner Duplex Guide
5. Remove the Inner Simplex Guide and Pre-Deskew Sensor
6. Disconnect the Paper Preheater wiring harness connector

NOTE: Note how the wiring harnesses are restrained to the printer frame bottom for rein-
stallation.
