Fix the top edge of the fabric to the empty core fixed to the take-up unit with
adhesive tape, etc.
• Fix so that the fabric is evenly stretched at both ends and in the center. If you follow the below-
mentioned procedures, you will be able to stretch the fabric almost evenly.
When setting media outwardly
(1) First, fix the center.
• When fixing the center of the fabric first, tape down it while rotating the paper core to the reverse
direction from the take-up direction. By doing this, allowance of the fabric at taping down first is lost
and you can fix the fabric so that its tension becomes even in the Step (2).
(2) Pulling the left and the right sides of the fabric toward the outside respectively, fix them.
• When setting wider media, fix five positions and more of the media with tape etc. The more fixing
positions are, the more tension of the media becomes even.
• When the position of the fabric set and the position of the core is out of alignment, loosen the screw of
the roll holder and make adjustment so that the core comes to the appropriate position.
• From the roll of the feeding side, see and check the position of both ends of the fabric are aligned with
the both ends of the roll on the feeding side.

Raise the clamp lever.

By operating the switch of the feeding device at the
rear surface of the machine, loosen the fabric.
(1) Set the  switches to the feeding direction of the media.
(2) Turn to "MANUAL" and feed out the fabric.

Using the switch of the take-up unit on the front surface of the equipment, wind the
fabric more than one round.
(1) Set the  switches to the feeding direction of the media..
(2) Turn the switch to [MANUAL] and take up the fabric more
than one round.
