1. Block the front wheels, loosen the rear wheel luq.
nuts slightly, support the rear of car on satety
stands. then remove the rear wheels.
Release the parking brake.

Remove the calioer shield.
CALIPER SHIELD
Remove the two caliper mounting bolts and the
caliper trom the bracket.
CAUTION:

prevont dust and dirt ttom ontodng insid6.
a Support the calipel with a pleco ot wilo 5o that it
does not hang trom tho brako hose.
CALIPER MOUNTING

lf lining thickness is less than service limit at step 5,
.eplace the rear pads as a set.
Remove the pad shims, pads and pad retainers.
Using vernier calipers, measure the thickness of
each brake pad lining,

NOTE: Measurement does not include pad backing
