Five and six UPS systems only. Locate the battery cartons on the separate pallet (see Figure 4).

If the battery pallet is not already moved, verify that the forklift or pallet jack is rated to handle the weight
of the batteries and the pallet (see Table 1 for battery weight).

Use a forklift or pallet jack to move the system close to the installation area. Do not park the pallet in a
location that will interfere with installing the system. Insert the forklift jacks between the skids on either
side of the pallet.
The forklift jacks must be inserted between the skids of the pallet (see Figure 3). If unloading
instructions are not closely followed, moving the batteries may cause serious injury.

NOTE
You will install the batteries in the top two UPS cabinets after the system is installed
in the final location (described in "Installing the UPS Internal Batteries" on page 30).
