13. Recheck alignment with alignment tool. Tool must enter coupler splines freely. If not,
readjust front mounts.
IMPORTANT: Turn both front engine mount adjustment nuts an equal amount in
direction required to align engine.
14. When alignment is correct, tighten locknut securely. Recheck alignment.
15. Torque locknuts to 147 Nm (108 Ib-ft).
NOTE: If operating in a saltwater environment, apply a seal to threads and nuts to help
protect against corrosion. This will allow for easier loosening in the future, if readjustment
becomes necessary. We strongly advise that you also use a self-blocking locknut instead
of a mere regulation nut. (The kit that CMD supplies features the self-blocking locknut)

16. Remove alignment tool and packing security tools.
