a. Repeat steps 10. and 11., until the alignment tool installs easily (SLIDES FREELY
WITH TWO FINGERS) all the way into and out of engine coupler splines. DO
NOT check by turning.
NOTE: This may require tapping the sides of the tool. DO NOT check by turning. By
greasing the splines you can identify which side has interference.

b – Gimbal Bearing
c – Engine Coupler
12. Relieve hoist tension entirely and fasten both front mounts to boat stringer using
appropriate hardware.
