Note: A pending firmware upgrade can also be activated in the DS Storage Manager
(Subsystem Management) window in the Advanced  Maintenance  Activate
Controller Firmware menu
e. Click on the Activate button to activate the pending firmware. The window shown in
Figure 14-50 will appear.

f. Type "yes" in the box to confirm that you want to activate the pending firmware and
click OK.
g. The activation process may take some time to complete and the status of the process
can be monitored in the tool. Figure 14-51 on page 373 shows the status after the
firmware has been successfully activated.
