Figure 4-29 on page 119 shows a configuration with redundant iSCSI connections to a dual
controller DS3500 storage subsystem. In this example, the gigabit ethernet switch represents
a single point of failure. You can achieve additional redundancy of the host side connections
by using two gigabit switches: you connect each iSCSI host bus adapter to a different gigabit
ethernet switch. We show an example of the use of redundant gigabit ethernet switches in
Figure 4-30 on page 120.
