6. Press down firmly on the heat sink until it is seated securely.
7. Rotate the heat-sink lever to the closed position and hook it underneath the lock tab.
Step 10. Reinstall the air baffle (see "Installing the air baffle" on page 251).
Step 11. Rotate the power-supply cage assembly back into the server. Press the power-supply cage release
tab and rotate the power-supply cage assembly into the chassis.

If you have other options to install or remove, do so now. Otherwise, go to "Completing the installation" on
page 249.

Removing a ServeRAID-BR10i SAS/SATA controller

To remove a ServeRAID-BR10i SAS/SATA adapter, complete the following steps:
Step 1.
Read the safety information (see Chapter 2 "Safety information" on page 3).
Step 2.
Turn off the server and peripheral devices, and disconnect the power cords and all external cables.
Remove the side cover (see "Removing the side cover" on page 146).
Step 3.
Carefully lay the server on its side so that it is lying flat and facing up.
Note: Do not allow the server to fall over.
Step 4.
Rotate the rear adapter-retention bracket to the open (unlocked) position.
Step 5.
Disconnect any cables connected to the adapter.
Attention: To avoid breaking the retaining clips or damaging the ServeRAID-BR10i adapter
connector, open and close the clips gently.
