Step 8. Remove the voltage regulator module (VRM) from the VRM connector.
Step 9. If you are instructed to return the VRM, follow all packaging instructions, and use any packaging
materials for shipping that are supplied to you.

Installing a voltage regulator module (VRM)

To install a VRM, complete the following steps:
Step 1. Turn the VRM so that the VRM keys align correctly with the slot connector.
Step 2. Firmly press the VRM straight down into the connector by applying pressure on both ends of the
VRM simultaneously.
