Thermal grease

Heat sink
1. Make sure that the heat-sink release lever is in the open position.
2. Remove the plastic protective cover from the bottom of the heat sink.
3. If the new heat sink did not come with thermal grease, (Trained service technician only) apply
thermal grease on the microprocessor before you install the heat sink.
4. Align the heat sink above the microprocessor with the thermal-grease side down.

5. Tilt the heat sink slightly to the side and slide the heat sink flange underneath the flange of the
heat sink retainer bracket.
